Release Negative Emotions

Negative emotions can get stuck in your meridian system and prevent you from healing and for making the progress that you should be able to be. The meridian system is a physical system in our bodies that seems to work similar to the electrical system in houses and buildings. The energy is literal.

To clear the emotions, we use circuitry and intention. You connect the circuit with your fingertips and intend to release the emotion you’re working on. Each meridian has a specific point, or points.

Your other hand will touch a head point. Left temple for emotions in the past. Right temple for emotions about the future. Forehead for emotions that feel pervasive. And top of the head for emotions that feel like you’re picking up others’ emotions rather than your own.

Use the emotions below as categories of emotions. Anger can be the entire range from a bit upset to full of rage. Sadness can be a bit sad to devastated. Some emotions have similar emotions that are stored in other meridians. So a multi-faceted approach may be very helpful for you.

Meridians are electrical circuits and mirror each other in the body. Some points are on the center line of the body and share those points in common with both circuits. Some points are off the midline, and so there are two points. They are only loosely associated with the organs themselves, so even though you only have one liver or have had your gallbladder removed, you have two liver points and two gallbladder points. I will typically do both points if it’s a big emotion or doesn’t seem to completely clear with one.

Hold the point shown for the emotion you’re releasing, and your forehead. Think about releasing that emotion. Hold until you can feel the emotion release or you feel really awkward. Now think of the opposite of that emotion, and hold the points while you ask God to fill you with that positive emotion in this context.

Weekly Emotional Release

Over the last couple years, I've experimented with going through all the emotions in clock order and releasing all that seem to need it. I've found this to be a very helpful regular maintenance routine, so am including it here. I recommend weekly, but you can experiment to find the frequency that works the best for you. More frequently if you're working through something seems to be helpful.

Go through the chart in order with any of the head points that apply - or all of them as I often do. Release all of the negative, and then go through the second chart of positive emotions using the right temple head point to input all the good to replace all the ick you just got rid of. Nature abhors a vacuum, and that certainly applies here.

Lies I Buy

When you've identified a lie that you've believed, you can use this prayer to break that lie. See the worksheet for more help in identifying possible lies you're believing that's impeding your success and progress.

Father/Papa/Creator, I confess that I believed the lie that _____________. I repent of believing that lie and of all the damage it’s done in my heart/life/career/relationships/etc. I ask for your forgiveness and healing. I bind and cast all entities involved with this lie to the feet of Jesus and I say that they may never return. By Jesus’ power I erase the effects of that lie out of every part of me. I ask you Lord to come, as an All Consuming Fire and burn any deposits left behind, any seeds, implantations or any fruit. Please write the truth everywhere that lie was in my life. I receive all miracles of healing, provision, deliverance and freedom that you have for me. Thank you for being my true north, redirect my steps towards destiny and all of your promises for my life.

Belief Reset

To help your system reframe and release negative thoughts, it’s helpful to first identify them, and then to construct a statement that is the opposite of that negative thought. You want to replace the negative with the positive, or another negative thought will probably fill that space. Nature abhors a vacuum, and it is never more true than in situations such as these.

Procedure:

Place your right three fingertips on Pt. 1 and your left three fingertips on Pt. 2. Keep contact with both points as you tap.
Tap point 1 then point 2, 60 seconds each while repeating the negative thought.
Then massage R-H7 then L-H7 clockwise for 60 seconds each while thinking about the positive thought.
