But you're not gonna like it.

You know that thing that you've been avoiding, rationalizing why it's not for now, putting off until you have more time, resources, knowledge, authority, whatever it is you feel you lack?

Go do it.

This is a pretty good rule of thumb to find the breakthrough in any situation. You follow the discomfort, resistance, fear back to the source. It's that thing. That's the lair and you have dragons to slay.

Ok, ok, maybe that thing isn't the breakthrough and it's really just a time suck. I'm sure you've been down this rationalization road. Why go to all that hassle unless you know? Because if you don't do it, you'll never know. We can leverage some pretty good bets: we think we heard God say this direction, or we know from watching other businesses operate that this is a solid plan... Another indicator is it will usually be something that only you can do. You can’t outsource it. It demands your personality, skill set, raw talent or some other factor of “Youness” to work. It’s yours alone. You just need to go do it!

Ok, ok, I'll humor you for a moment. Let's make a list of all the reasons why you can't do this right now. Get out all the things that you believe would make you feel better if you had in place before you started. Now, obliterate that list one way or the other. Either make the things happen, or figure out how to do without. Let go of perfectionism and start.
