If you did your homework last week for your corporate structure, there's another position I want you to write in, or map in, up top. "Master Strategist" and it's finally not a position covered by you! Yup, it's God. You still have to hold the meetings though.
Back in Module 13, I asked you to think about what time of day you are the most intuitive. (Among other things.) We'll use that data here, because that needs to be time that you take to seek God about your business or whatever else in life. Show up with expectation.
One way to do this is to simply write a question across the top of a page in the morning and sit with it a minute. If you hear, see, sense anything, great, write it down. If you got nothing, then go on with your day watching for the answer to come in other ways. Come back to the page in the evening and sit with it again. I think many times when we don't get an answer, it's not that our hearing is broke, but it wasn't the right question and the answer would be irrelevant and would only help you persist with a false premise.
Another thing that I think is common is that you already know the answer. It's not necessarily rebellion, it can be fear, doubt, overwhelm, dread, imposter syndrome, insecurity, feeling under resourced and to be honest, sometimes it looks like a terrible idea. I don't blame you for wanting to double, triple, quadruple check.
When I started these classes, people that already had a business were lumped into the same class as the people who hadn't chosen a business yet. There were some elementary first lessons that everybody would benefit from, but beyond that, you really had to have a business for any of it to be beneficial. I was so worried about the ones that didn't know what they wanted to do yet, and I went to God with that concern. He said "They do too know. They're just afraid to say it." I had to say it first.
There's not really any one way to do this, doing it the way that fits you is the best way. If you ascend, great, do that. If you dream, get diligent about journaling and interpreting. If you hear, see, sense, or perceive, follow breadcrumbs, rabbits, whatever works for you, make a point of being available for that.
This is a skill that you hone. However you decide to check in with your Strategist, I suggest you get it on the calendar and honor it like you would any other business partner. That's what we're going to work on this week! You're going to decide the when where how and show up.
What doesn't actually matter is whether or not you think your meeting is successful. If you sit there 20 minutes and get nothing, that's still time spent with God. Almost everybody that's proficient in this stuff has had to push through disappointment, frustration and seeming pointlessness. You can read all of our sagas in Accessing Your Spiritual Inheritance. I don't know anybody with a successful healing ministry that hasn't had to lay hands on people and look like an idiot to hundreds before finally getting some breakthrough. It's a matter of perseverance and practice.
There isn't any better skill you can develop. I'll leave you with a couple of verses. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 NASB
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5
Essential Homework:
- Set up your strategy meeting time during the time of day when you think you're most intuitive. You can decide how long, how often and how you're doing it. (Note: How long is kind of your minimum. If I'm sitting 20 mins and nothing is happening, I'll bail, which is twice the amount of time I'd give anybody else. If we're into to something, then I will stretch it out as long as I can.
- Put this on your calendar, set up phone reminders etc.
- Do you need to buy a separate journal just for this?
Optional Homework:
The Spirit of Wisdom by Ian Clayton This one is not free, but I've listened to it. One of the things that Ian says is that wisdom and finances are linked, and because the church for the most part has taken a vow of poverty, they can't access wisdom. Food for thought and head trash to take out.
